The Tales of Forum (ToF) is an offshoot of the official Namco Tales forums. It has all the same features and sections but boasts a much closer community. It was created by ~Kaz and Kitten4u.
Beginning[]
The Tales of Forum began with a few members who posted moderately. It slowly began gaining speed as more members began to join. It was a very close and peaceful community with only an occasional flame fight between Shuya and Kuroda due to past issues between the two.
Flame War[]
After a while, the flaming began to grow more intense, and sides were formed. Shuya, Mai, and Flaming Prayer formed a group called the Loveys, while the other members didn't form any kind of group, but were still against them, or completely neutral.
Demise[]
After a long period of constant flame wars, the user DevlJoe got tired of it and started a petition to ban the Loveys. This was passed around various users until it was leaked to the group itself. Shuya was banned due to the following flame war, Lovey left, though it seems Mai stayed active on the forums. As a result of this petition, rules were set up stating that petitions were no longer allowed under any circumstances, and the Loveys continued to act as if nothing had happened. After a bit longer, DevlJoe, dR. mENtAl, Darkurai, Mint-chan and Kuroda all got fed up and left the forum, moving to DevlJoe's forum. Soon, the TOF began to die; the Loveys and remaining members moved to Shuya's forum. The TOF then went into a period of total inactivity.
Revival[]
A few months after the first large period of inactivity, Synch had decided that he wanted the ToF to be brought back. Shortly after, dR. mENtAl rejoined and helped to restore the ToF to its former glory.
Darkurai, however, had returned only to make one post. He had claimed that a revival would be impossible, as that would have required all the members to return, when some (himself included) had stated that they would not return. On the other hand, he had also promised that he will help the ToF "in some way". Likewise, some members who had not wished to return to the ToF had accepted to aid in its revival.
The revival movement reached its peak at the forum's one year anniversary,[date?] when almost all the original members returned. However, activity quickly petered off to nothing thereafter.
Deletion[]
Due to lack of activity, the Tales of Forum was entirely deleted.[date?] ~Kaz could not be reached for comment through PM.
